Bay Area flower walk

On our last trip out to the Bay Area I actually managed to fit in a non-work activity- a walk around in a neighborhood. It was a glorious early March, and lots of things were in bloom. It’s been a while since I lived in California, and I don’t exactly remember what March is like season wise-they are definitely more subtle than Colorado’s seasons. I saw birds of paradise, tulips, orchids, petunias, and lantanas in bloom, and plenty of flowers that I can’t identify.

There’s a bunch of photo highlights, and this is just a gallery because there isn’t much of a story to go along with the pictures. Maybe you can identify the flowers in the comment section?

Enjoy!
